Pumpkin in a mug.

Pumpkin-flavored coffee? This may not sound tempting at first, but the Pumpkin Spice Latte has become a real highlight for cold autumn days. A highlight, that you can easily conjure up in your own coffee cup. Here’s how it works:

You’ll need:

  • 4 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 4 teaspoons ginger
  • 3 teaspoons clove powder
  • 1 shot agave syrup
  • 1 espresso (best made from Bieder & Maier Organic Dark Roast beans)
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • Milk of your choice

This is how you prepare the spicy Bieder & Maier Pumpkin Spice Latte:

For the homemade pumpkin puree, cut the pumpkin in half, remove the seeds and bake it at approx. 200° C for 50-60 minutes. Then remove the pumpkin flesh from the peel and puree it. This results in a so-called “pumpkin pie spice syrup”. Afterwards, heat the milk as usual, foam it up and add the fresh Bieder & Maier Organic Dark Roast Espresso. Finally, stir in the syrup and a tablespoon of pumpkin puree and serve with a pinch of cinnamon!
