Stunning beaches, reggae music and one of the most exclusive coffee blends in the world.

Jamaica – known for its good-humored inhabitants and idyllic vegetation, holds a treasure hidden high up in the summits of the Blue Mountains, which will make any connoisseur’s heart skip a beat: the Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee ripens, favored by the region’s microclimate there, to become one of the most exciting coffee beans in the world in terms of taste. Rich in nitrogen and phosphorus, the soil provides the ideal conditions for its unique flavor. In addition, the high humidity and rainfall further emphasize its excellent quality.

DIFFICULT HARVESTING CONDITIONS AND AN UNMISTAKABLE AROMA.

The “champagne” among the coffees, as it is often called, is characterized by its slightly sweet and nutty aroma due to the special climate, with caramel nuances and fine acidity in the finish, which win over many coffee connoisseurs. Since its geographical location makes the use of machines practically impossible, the beans for Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee must be harvested by hand – only the best seedlings are selected by the experienced mountain farmers in this region.

AFTER THE HARVEST THE BEANS REST.

As soon as the pulp has been removed from the beans, they have to rest on a raised bed for eight whole weeks. Afterwards they are carefully separated and graded according to bean size. Finally, they are shipped all over the world to bring their extraordinary flavors into our cups – a true masterpiece.
